Among all the major brands reviewed, this pump was the one that gave the largest water output per watt of electricity. It pumps 2400 gallons per hour using only 100 watts. The nearest best performer was the Fishmate (Any Mate), which pumps 2500 GPH using 113 watts.Aside from its high energy efficiency, the Laguna pump is indeed powerful, quiet and reliable. I have had it for a month now. It has never clogged and never stopped working. It comes with the necessary attachments to connect to three hose sizes: 3/4", 1" and 1 1/4". with clear recommendations to opt for the largest hose diameter.On the negative side, it does not come with a splitter to divert part of its water output to different places, say, a pond filter and a waterfall or a fountain, for example.I am most satisfied with this purchase.See all 1 customer reviews... »» Read more...Price: $331.85 » Check Discount.
