I purchased this to clean the acorns and oaks leaves from the bottom of my pond. There are several problems with this product. First it simply does not hold a charge. If you charge the battery use it right after otherwise the charge is lost quickly. The vacuum is not powerful enough to suck up much from the bottom of the pond. Additionally, for some reason I can no longer tighten the sections so the head turns around and I have a difficult time placing it where I want it. Very Frustrating!! The only reason I am keeping this vacuum is to clean out the skimmer. It is very difficult to get my arm down to clean out the bottom ( i am short and I am up to my armpits trying to dig out the stuff (sludge and leaves) - especially during winter when the pond is over flowing. The vacuum seems to work in this limited capacity. That will be helpful when it is freezing outside and I am worried about the pump because it is getting clogged with debris.
